Requirements:     
•    Bachelors degree in marketing, business management or related field.
•    Business development manager main role is to ensure the organizaion is relevant, attractive and offers members professional advise and support.

Experience:     
•    At least 5 years working experience as business development manager in service industry.
•    Those who have worked for professional membership organizations will have an advantage.

Salary:      KSHS. 100,000 - 120,000 PLUS PERFORMANCE BASED COMMISSIONS

Duties:     
Business development manager will perform the following duties:

•    Developing growth strategies and plans for membership.
•    Arrange business meetings with prospective corporate members and clients to pursue business leads.
•    Managing and retaining relationships with existing members and clients.
•    Researching opportunities and viable income streams. Promote the organizations products/services addressing or predicting members values, clients objectives and developing solutions to meet their values and objectives.
•    Developing growth strategies and plans for membership.
•    Arrange business meetings with prospective corporate members and clients to pursue business leads. Managing and retaining relationships with existing members and clients. Researching opportunities and viable income streams.
•    Promote the organizations products/services addressing or predicting members values, clients objectives and developing solutions to meet their values and objectives.
•    Develop goals and action plans for membership development and retention, including corporate sponsorships.
•    Identify, recruit and provide member services and track benefits provided to them to ensure that all receive benefits offered. Develop membership retention strategies, targets and all renewal systems and communications by managing the delivery of campaigns designed to retain existing members.
•    Developing strategies for recruitment of new members.
•    Develop and market revenue generating programmes to ensure sustainability of the organization activities.
