The client seeks to fill the above vacancy with persons who commit themselves to the content industry at the earliest time possible
The BD Manager will focus on key partnerships that would drive value for the client. He shall oversee the User growth strategy, implement initiatives that would increase revenue, provide key insight on local market and trends, manage content acquisition/partnership, help to develop and manage clients, carry out from time to time industry research and insights, and help the business make strategic decisions. He/She shall on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, provide a work plan of action, in line with overall goal.
a) Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities.
b) in charge of local BD activities and in some cases, regional BD activities. Activities would encompass; Content Partnership Development, Growth through Product improvement and local user acquisition, Monetization and local team development.
c) Identifying right Content partners locally, develop relationships with them, onboard them on the Browser, and manage expectations of clients.
d) Accessing and analyzing backend data to improve content performance. Executive will use data to help partners improve their content quality and output.
e) Sourcing advertising campaigns from brands, agencies and clients seeking to advertise on the browser platform and provide performance data to such clients.
f) Liaise with internal team on campaign improvement and optimization.
g) Building business relationships with current and potential clients
h) Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for business.
i) Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts
j) Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
k) Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information
l) Work with marketing team to identify, define, deploy, and measure impact of marketing activities and campaigns across key channels.
m) Provide support to the Regional Head of Business and Global Head of Growth.
The job holder should have the following qualifications:
a) Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
b) 4-7 years of experience within digital, media, or technology industry.
c) Experience working in a browser or social media environment will be an added advantage.

a) Have Experience with Digital and Internet Business ecosystem.
b) have worked in similar industry and show track of performance at the highest level.
c) Have Understanding of Platforms, operations, management, data extractions, analysis and reporting. Can trend spot and take initiatives.
d) Be able to provide insight to Global team on local opportunities in line with our product/services.
e) Be able to lead generation and prospect management
f) Have Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
g) Be Persuasive and goal-oriented and must be a problem solver.
h) Be Able to professionally and confidently communicate with C-Level Executives
i) Have Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
j) Have Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
k) CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
