Business Development Officer

Summary

Ensure targets for the month are achieved by bringing in new loans, collections of the loans and disbursing loans as per targets given.

Duties and Responsibility

 Reviewing open accounts for collection efforts

 Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due date

 Provision of timely reports

 Conduct market research and competitor analysis.

 Ensure proper appraisal of business and home is done

 Develop, update and maintain a database of potential customers

 Assisting in running branch operations

 Develop overall disbursements and collections strategy to achieve set KPI’s.

 Ensure proper asset listing and valuation are done.

 Ensure company SOPs (standard operating procedures) are followed to the latter.

 Preparation of weekly reports.

 Achieve monthly targets in the following KPIs

o Disbursement Target o Collections Target

o New Customer Targets o Active Customer Targets

Qualifications

Must have a Business-related Degree or Diploma

Have 2years sales and marketing experience an understanding of microfinance institution is an added advantage.

Have good communications skills

Customer relations skills

Aggressive and have high levels of integrity Computer Literacy

A strong, mission driven and ambitious person who leads by example
