Job Description Kisii County is one of the forty seven Counties of Kenya. It shares common borders with Nyamira County to the North East, Narok County to the South and Homabay and Migori Counties to the West. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The County Public Service Board will be responsible for the following:- Establishing and abolishing offices in the County Public ServiceAppointing persons thold or act in the County Public offices including those on the boards of urban areas within the county, and tconfirm appointmentsExercise disciplinary control over and removal of persons holding or acting in the county offices as provided forPrepare regular reports for submission tthe County Assembly on the execution of the function of the boardPromote in the County Public Service Board the values and Principles referred tin Article 10 and of the Constitution of Kenya Evaluate and report tthe County Assembly on the extent twhich the values and principles referred tin Article 10 and of the Constitution are complied within the County Public ServiceFacilitate the development of coherent, integrated human resource planning and budgeting processes for personnel emoluments in the CountyAdvise the County Government on the human resource management and developmentAdvise the County Government on the implementation and monitoring of the national management system in the CountyMake recommendation tthe Salaries and Remuneration Commission on behalf of the County government on the remuneration, pensions and gratuities for the county public service employees RequirementsFor appointment this position one should; Be a Kenyan CitizenBe in possession of a first degree from a University recognized in KenyaHave a working experience of not less than ten years for Chairperson and not less than five years for MemberSatisfies the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on leadership and integrityBe a professional when demonstrates absence of breach of the relevant professional code of conductNot be a state or public officerUnderstand the diversity within the CountyBe committed tbe part of a team that will enable the County Government achieve its vision Terms of service Contract Six years (Non-renewable)May Serve on part time-basis.SalaryAs prescribed by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRc)
