Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate male Child Psychologist and Social Worker to join our team at Reach International Children’s Center. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying child needs, developing Individual Child Care Plans (ICCP), and providing psychological, behavioral, and emotional support to our children.

  • Experience Level : Mid level
  • Experience Length : 5 years

Job Description/Requirements

   • Develop and implement Individual Child Care Plans (ICCP) for each child.

    • Diagnose psychological, behavioral, and emotional disorders.

    • Consult with doctors, therapists, and other medical professionals.

    • Provide guidance and instruction to child families during their stay at RICC.

    • Respond to children in crisis situations with appropriate interventions.

    • Collaborate with house parents to create group therapy sessions.

    • Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with RICC children.

    • Review child progress reports and update ICCPs accordingly.

    • Participate in outreach programming for preliminary assessments.

    • Train, monitor, and supervise the Field Officer.

    • Engage with parents to ensure smooth and successful restoration of boys.

    • Facilitate staff development in mental health and trauma.

    • Ensure adherence to child protective policies.

    • Formulate quarterly comprehensive plans for the social department.

    • Conduct monthly field visits with the Field Officer.

    • Maintain high standards of mental health care across the board.

    • Perform additional duties as assigned, including work on weekends and holidays with time off in lieu.


Qualifications:

    • Gender Requirement: Male

    • Education: Master’s degree in social work or related field.

    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in social work.

    • Certifications: Up-to-date social service and education certifications.

    • Membership: Member in good standing with King Jesus Faith Ministries or another approved local church.

   

• Skills:

        ◦ Strong written and verbal communication.

        ◦ Effective in diverse and adolescent environments.

        ◦ Organizational and prioritization skills.

        ◦ Excellent professional communication and interpersonal skills.

        ◦ Conflict resolution capabilities.

        ◦ Comfortable interacting with all levels of individuals.

        ◦ Ability to maintain confidentiality.

        ◦ Professional appearance and conduct.

   

• Other Requirements:

        ◦ Valid Driver’s License.

        ◦ Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 22kg.

        ◦ Proficiency in using office equipment and Microsoft Excel.

    • Live a lifestyle consistent with biblical principles, seeking God’s will and wisdom.

    • Maintain an attitude of service to Christ.


Working Conditions:

    • Typical home and office environment with no exposure to adverse conditions.

    • Regular use of office equipment including printer, copier, fax machine, and computer.

    • Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
