CLEANING SUPERVISOR – DUBAI.

We are a HR Consultancy firm specialized in Recruitment, HR outsourcing and Immigration support in Africa with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda,
Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, Nigeria, South Africa and South Sudan.
Through our Tanzania branch, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee and manage a cleaning team for one of the leading Hygiene Solutions Provider in the thriving City of Dubai.
THE JOB
The Cleaning Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of our cleaning operations. This role involves supervising cleaning staff, coordinating
schedules, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
1. Supervision and Leadership:
• Lead, train, and supervise cleaning staff, providing guidance and support.
• Assign tasks, manage work schedules, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
2. Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections to assess the cleanliness and condition of assigned areas.
• Address and resolve any cleaning deficiencies promptly.
3. Inventory and Supplies:
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained and adequately stocked.
• Place orders for cleaning products and supplies as needed.
4. Safety and Compliance:
• Enforce safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Investigate and report any safety incidents or violations.
5. Client Communication:
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients to address their specific needs and concerns.
• Respond to client inquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner.
6. Reporting:
• Prepare and submit regular reports on cleaning activities, staffing, and equipment maintenance.
• Communicate operational updates to management.
QUALIFICATIONS
The job holder should have the following qualifications.
1. Diploma in Catering and Accommodation or Housekeeping.
2. Additional education or certifications related to cleaning management is a plus.
3. Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.
4. Valid Driving License. Those with UAE driving license have an added advantage.
5. Proven experience in a cleaning supervisor or lead role, preferably in a commercial or institutional setting.
