B. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING
3. Clerical Officer II, JOB GROUP CPSB 10 (1 POST)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Maintain receipts and payments.
ii. Preparing payments vouchers.
iii. Maintaining vote book.
iv. Keep proper records for books of accounts.
v. Safe custody of all records and documents of the Institution.
vi. Timely processing of information required by the Office.
vii. Any other duties that may be assigned by the relevant Head of Department.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
i. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C Plain or its approved equivalent.
ii. Computer application skills.
iii. A certificate in any of the following disciplines: Human Resource Management, Business Administration.Kenya Accounts Technician Certificate (KATC), Information Communication Technology (ICT), Kenya Administration and Management Examination (KAME) or any other approved equivalent qualification.
iv. Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and Integrity.
a) Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation
b) Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
c) Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
d) Clearance from the Ethics &Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
e) Clearance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
