6. Clerical Officer H JOB GROUP CPSB 13 (1 POST)
Work at this level will be carried out under close supervision and guidance of a more Senior Officer and will be subject to regular checks and verification. The Officer at this level will be deployed in the HRM Unit, general registry, supplies, accounts Office or general Office services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Maintain and organized Registry.
ii. Presenting fresh mails and all other correspondences to the Office Secretary.
iii. Safe custody of all records and documents.
iv. Timely processing of information required to the Office.
v. Any other duties that may be assigned by the relevant Head of the Department.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
For appointment to this grade, a Candidate must be in possession of: -
i. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C Plain or its approved equivalent.
ii. Computer application skills.
iii. A certificate in any of the following disciplines: Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Kenya Accounts Technician Certificate (KATC), Information Communication Technology (ICT), Kenya Administration and Management Examination (KAME) or any other approved equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
iv. Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and Integrity.
a) Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation
b) Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
c) Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
d) Clearance from the Ethics &Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
e) Clearance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
