Job Purpose



Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of our esteemed client is seeking a passionate and qualified Commercial & Technical Sales Manager to join a leading Healthcare Organization dedicated to providing innovative
medical solutions. The Commercial & Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for driving market expansion and leading a team of Technical Sales Executives. The role combines technical expertise with commercial leadership to execute an aggressive market growth strategy in the medical device sector.



Key Responsibilities
 Own and execute market expansion plans to achieve aggressive growth objectives and drive
competitive displacement strategies for key accounts.
 Develop strategic account targeting methodologies to penetrate high-value hospital accounts and
lead pipeline acceleration initiatives.
 Design and implement comprehensive training programs addressing product knowledge,
negotiation, competitive selling, and clinical applications.
 Conduct regular pipeline reviews and coaching sessions with the sales team to foster highperformance culture through mentorship and accountability.
 Serve as liaison between commercial team and factory-trained engineers, overseeing
development of training materials for product specialization.
 Train team to translate technical specifications into clinical and economic value propositions for
healthcare institutions.
 Develop relationships with key decision-makers (Economic, User, and Technical Buyers) in toptier hospitals and healthcare facilities.
 Champion framework contracts to secure long-term partnerships and collaborate with marketing
to leverage testimonials and case studies.
 Lead negotiations and close strategic deals while establishing performance frameworks tracking
quotas and development goals.
 Champion CRM system use for pipeline management, forecasting, and data-driven sales
management.
 Position remote monitoring, preventive maintenance, and comprehensive service as key
differentiators in the market.
 Build and maintain partnerships with healthcare stakeholders including hospital administrators, procurement teams, and clinical department heads.



Qualifications
 7-10 years of experience in medical device or healthcare capital equipment industry.
 3-5 years in sales leadership with proven track record of achieving growth targets.
 Direct experience with ventilators or critical care technologies strongly preferred.
 Demonstrated success with strategic account planning and value-based selling.
 Proficiency with CRM platforms and data-driven sales management.

 Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business, or related field.
 Hybrid background combining clinical/technical expertise with commercial acumen highly
desirable.
