Job Brief

If you are familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we would like you to join our team for the Content Writer position. The content writer executive will report to the Head of Marketing. The content writer will be a key contributor in driving traffic to our blogs through creative content writing, regularly updating content on the company’s website, updating content on the Company’s blog, and keeping up to date with trending topics. Ultimately, the content writer will deliver quality writing pieces and content that appeals to our audience, promote our brand and attract customers.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, English Journalism, or a related field.
• Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio
• Fast thinker and problem solver
• An impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions
• Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management
• Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
• Strict adherence to the style guides of each company and their policies for publication
• Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
• Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Is naturally curious

Responsibilities 

• Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
• Create eye-catching and innovative headlines
• Regularly write and produce well-researched content for publication online through blogs, articles, and videos.
• Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within the deadlines
• Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire ideas and content
• Proofread content to check for errors and publish content from freelancers, and inconsistencies and ensure the content is suitable for the intended audience.
• Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure the timely delivery of materials
• Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs
• Actively manage and promote our blog through social media posts, push notifications, writing articles, and posting updated videos.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement
• Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
