Debt Collector - Rural Sector

Our organization is a dynamic start-up in the renewable energy sector developing both on-grid and off-grid renewable energy projects in the rural set up. Our mission is to provide reliable, affordable, and sustainable access to energy in regions that do not have this today.

If you chose to join us, your responsibilities will include:

• ·       Managing the debt tracking system to keep it up to date.

• ·       Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments.

• ·       Investigate and resolve discrepancies as well as handle customer complaints.

• ·       Locate and contact debtors to inquire of their payment status.

• ·       Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans.

• ·       Issue disconnection letters to defaulting customers as well as recover appliances in case of default payments.

• ·       Create trust relationships with debtors, when possible, to avoid future issues

This is a full-time job in Muranga. This role will be quite demanding and require a person who can work under pressure to deliver results within tight deadlines, great negotiation skills, has an eye for detail, is proactive & will take accountability over the result of their role.
