About Us
We are a new generation e-commerce platform, built from the ground up to solve first and foremost the UNIQUE ISSUES of E-commerce in Africa. We reject the common practice of copying foreign models of e-commerce and instead build new, unique tools to create the unique shopping experience needed for success in the African Market.
The team is fully dedicated to listening to the customer, and creating tools that create the unique shopping experience they are looking for.
Due to our recent growth, we are looking for a highly motivated DIGITAL MARKETING ROCKSTAR who can bring energy and enthusiasm in building the most customer focused e-commerce platform in Africa.
Key Qualities:
1. Excellent skills. Needs to do their job without struggle. Cannot have entry level skills
2. Practical skills. Experience in running paid campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Google. Experience in other platforms is a plus
3. A portfolio mentioning the projects undertaken so far
4. Excellent creator. Has to be able to take ideas and generate real creative for abstract ideas
5. Data Driven Decisions in campaign optimization. Needs to generate key data points on campaign performance and use this to make decisions on campaign optimization
6. Speedy delivery. Has perfected their process in order to deliver projects fast.
7. Comfortable working with deadlines. Knows how to breakdown tasks to deliver within deadlines
8. Comfortable with Processes. Be able to work with the required systems and processes
9. Burnout resistant. Has established ways of keeping creative at all times
10. Experience working in an office setup and reporting to managers & supervisors
11. Excellent communicator. Has to be able to communicate with the rest of the team
12. Experience in creating online media. Needs to know what works online, what doesn’t work
13. Customer focus. Has to be thinking whether the customer gets the message at all times
14. Understanding priorities. Needs to understand what the priorities are and shifting focus if need be
15. Team focused. Can’t be a Lone Ranger. Has to focus on working with the rest of the team

Key responsibilities
1. Strategy Development - Create comprehensive marketing strategies by analyzing target audience, and choose the most effective digital channels and tactics to reach potential customers.
2. Content Creation and Management - Creating engaging and relevant content including blog posts, videos, graphics, for our different social media channels.
3. Creating Social Media Advertising Campaigns – Creating different social media campaigns for Facebook, Instagram and other social media channels
4. Conversion Optimization – Constantly optimizing campaigns and the entire funnel to enhance conversion rates.
5. Reporting – Keep detailed reports on campaign performance with the most important metrics
6. Report Interpretation – Read and interpret campaign reports and implement data driven optimizations
7. Scaling Campaigns – Strategize and execute profitable scaling of our social media campaigns
8. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - Optimize website content and structure to improve search engine rankings. This involves keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and monitoring search engine algorithm changes.
9. Email Marketing - Crafting effective email campaigns to nurture leads and maintain customer relationships. Design email templates, create compelling content, segment email lists, and track campaign performance.
10. Conduct market research – Research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities and improve campaign performance
11. Collaborate with others - Work with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, and web development, to produce engaging content and optimize user experience
12. Stay up-to-date with emerging digital marketing trends and technologies
