SimbaPay is a UK headquartered FinTech business. We provide a branded service for banks & telcos which enables their customers send money abroad instantly.
The candidate will expand and strengthen our Business Development department. This will include overall responsibility for the entire department spanning team members in various countries in Africa and Europe.
The Business Development team supports partner banks/telcos during all stages of engagement including onboarding, project phase, GTM (Go To Market) and overall relationship management.
Our partner banks/telcos span from Tier 1 banks to mid-tier banks across several countries in Africa.
A. Ensure good client relationships are maintained with all partner banks/telcos
B. Oversee successful new partner engagement including participation in various project weekly stand-up meetings with partner banks/telcos
C. Review partner Go To Market plans
D. Ensure enquiries by potential partners are properly managed
E. Ensure new partner banks/telcos are onboarded in target countries in line with company strategy
F. Represent the company in various high level meetings
G. Recruit team members into the Business Development team (Kenya and abroad)
H. Ensuring a suitable trade show participation plan is implemented
A. Must be a committed Christian
B. Will have prior experience in a Business Development or Sales role preferably with financial institutions as the core customers
C. Experience in managing a Business Development/Sales team
D. Excellent presentation skills
E. Bachelors degree
F. This role will require international travel (estimated at 25%)
