Do you have what it takes to be an enumerator? Our client in the Research Industry is looking for Enumerators to implement a household-level socio-economic survey in Marsabit county in Kenya from September to November 2020.
Enumerator Job Summary
You will be implementing the socio-economic survey at household level. You will also help with community entry and connecting the team to the local leadership.
Job Responsibilities and Duties.
•Collecting household level information by the use of CAPI
•Making sure the assets (tablets and charges) are in good condition)
•Help with community entry
•Connecting the team to the local leadership
Qualifications and Duties
•Degree/Diploma in any discipline
•Should be able to communicate fluently in either Samburu, Rendille, Turkana, Gabra, or Borana-fluently.
•Experience using Computer-Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI)
•Experience with data collection-long survey
•Experience in household survey collection
•Should be able to work continuously outside home up to 2 months
•Willing to work, walk and sleep in manyatta or tent for the entire period
•Continuously available for 2 months from Mid Sept—November 2020
•Excellent communication skills
•Flexible and a team player
•Experience working with IBLI in previous data collection is an added advantage
