Requirements.

Diploma in animal production and Health Management.

Knowledge in poultry farm management.

Good in communication skills.

At least two years’ experience as extension officer

Problem solver.

Ability to work on short notice when demand spikes.

Roles and responsibilities.

Creating collection points procedures.

Liaising with farmers when the poultry birds are ready for sale.

Organizes shipping of processed meat in refrigerated boxes.

Make sure the production team adheres to every procedure on biosafety.

Inspect brought in chicken of infections and flu.

Keep records of chicken brought in by farmers.

Make sure that the farmers are paid on time and for received poultry.

Arrange exhibitions and talks for farmers.
