REPORTS TO:    FACTORY ASSISTANT

Job Description, Duties and Responsibilities

Your job description, duties and responsibilities as the Factory Electrician include but not limited to the following:-

o)    Manage all the electrical installations, fittings and systems within the company;
p)    Day to day allocation of work, supervision and management of staff within the electrical section;
q)    Responsible for all the electrical department tools and toolboxes;
r)    Team leader of the electrical section health and safety committee and ensures that the health and safety policy is implemented as required;
s)    Make periodical reports to the management on all the operations and activities of the electrical section;
t)    Ensure prompt response to reported electrical breakdowns and immediate approval for and requisition of required spare parts;
u)    Undertake periodical appraisals for the electrical section staff and
v)    Any other duty as may be assigned by the Factory from time to time.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills
The above position requires the following qualifications and skills:-

•    High National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
•    Knowledge in computer applications
•    Ten (10) years experience in a busy establishment
