Job Description – Farm Manager
Permanent & Full Time
Location: Isinya
Pay 45-55k per month
The farm manager will oversee all the field activities which include but not restricted to:
- Staff management
- Quality production of crops
- Planning of planting programs
- Nursery program
- Land preparation
- Sowing and transplanting
- Crop protection; pest & disease control
- Spray program within EU MRL requirements
- Organization of harvesting
- Ensuring essential farm supplies stocks are maintained
- Ensuring proper records & documentation are maintained
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an agriculture-related field
- 3 – 5 Years experience in agricultural production
- Leadership and management skills and experience
- Analytical and critical thinking
- Communication skills
