Our client is currently looking to hire a Finance & Admin Assistant.

Job Description

Responsibilities
•    Customer Invoicing: Raising of proforma invoices on QuickBooks and there after raising of invoices to clients as requested
•    Recording of sales and cost of sales on QuickBooks
•    Posting of Suppliers invoices and expenses and reconciliation of supplier statements
•    Posting and reconciliation of petty cash and director expenses
•    Reconciliation of Customer statements and follow up of WHT receivable where deducted
•    Posting of bank transactions and reconciliation of the bank statement every end of the month
•    Payroll preparation and filing of the monthly statutories
•    Filing of Withholding tax on I Tax and ensuring payment of every month
•    Budget preparation and carrying out a comparison report on budgeted vs. actuals
•    Preparation of quarterly financial reports
•    Advise on the records to be maintained by the business to enable ease of retrieval of accounting data and posting of transactions in subsequent visits
•    Review existing internal controls and advise on measures to be taken to mitigate gaps or risk areas
•    Filing annual tax return on I-Tax on receipt of audited accounts
•    Creating policies and procedures in regard to document storage and safety
•    Creation of all documents including NDAs, supplier agreements, company policies and guidelines.
•    Creation of structures around procurement of items for company projects
•    Managing guidelines on personal expenditure that can be reimbursed by the company
•    Providing administrative support for ongoing projects within the company
•    Creating database for potential talent and existing employees
•    Oversee recruitment, hiring and contracting process
•    Facilitating implementation of HR policies
•    Keep employment records for payroll, statutory deductions and benefits
•    Supporting the team in any other way as need arises
 
Qualifications
•    Degree/Diploma in (Economics / Accounting / Finance or Business Administration)
•    A recognized accounting qualification (CPA or ACCA)
•    At least 3 years experience in financial management and administration
•    Experience in handling administrative tasks
•    Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
