Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform several functions: Day to day financial administration for FYF USA and FYF NLConsolidation and initial review of financial documentation from Iraq Field team Proactive management of financial controls including taking appropriate measures in ensure accurate financial administrationSupport in development of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportingAssist in the development of donor reporting and budgetsAssist in internal and external audit workEnsure that processes are compliant with GAAP and regulatory requirements Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, development finance, or related field is a distinct advantage. Master’s degree and/or accounting designation preferred.Three to five years of finance administration experience in development or humanitarian programs.Advance skills in Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of QBO accounting software.A genuine commitment to living and working at the community level, improving the lives of members of a persecuted religious minority, and ability to devote considerable energy and dedication to the financial elements of a humanitarian aid program. · A good understanding of overall project cycle management. This should include a good understanding of working with donor guidelines and following up on program compliance.Proven capabilities in integrity and strong attention to detail are required, with the ability to work independently and with a diverse team, communicate effectively with individuals from a variety of background, and contribute to overall team capacity building.Fluency in English and the ability to write documents, reports, and ability to present information in English is essential.
