Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes in a timely manner.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts.
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing systems.
- Prepare and submit reports to management for financial analysis and decision-making.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data capture.
- Assist in improving financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA Part II or above (or equivalent professional qualification).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Experience in a financial institution or credit company is an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP).
- Knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and financial regulations.
