This is an exciting time to join VSO in a key strategic role within the global finance team. This role will organise and drive the organisational budget, forecast and reporting process, ensuring the organisational budget is completed in a timely and efficient manner. This role will work closely with budget holders of global functions (such as People, Public Fundraising, Business Development, Knowledge, Evidence & Learning and Corporate Services) providing them with the relevant financial analysis and support, enabling effective financial decisions. A key responsibility will be to work closely with fundraising teams to support high quality return on investment analysis and financial modelling, to drive fundraising strategies and support long-term scenario planning.
Skills, qualifications and experience
Competencies and Behaviour
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with extensive post qualification experience.
Must have significant experience of working with Public Fundraising functions, analysis Return on Investment, business plans and Public Fundraising Key Performance Indicators.
Significant experience in leading reporting and budgeting processes in a global organisation is also necessary for this role.
