Finance Director for an international company in the Automotive Sector

Our client, an international Automotive company operating in Kenya, is looking for a hands on Finance Director for its office in Nairobi. The successful candidate, will be responsible for managing the accounting team, producing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and be able to effectively communicate financial information to both internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience in the Automotive sector is an added advantage.

Key Requirements:

Oversee the financial operations of the business Preparation of the budget and analysis of deviations Monitoring of the companyâs accounting process Supervision of treasury operations Negotiation of transactions with the banks Definition and implementation of procedures and methods of internal control Management of repatriation of capital Monitoring of external audits Daily control of human resources and IT department

Qualififcations

Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Masterâs degree preferred Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification preferred Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or related field, including experience in a managerial role Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
