Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee two restaurants. The candidate must have experience in menu engineering and must be proficient with Micros and Materials control.

  • Minimum Qualification : Bachelors
  • Experience Level : Mid level
  • Experience Length : 5 years

Job Description/Requirements

1)     Managing all Food &Beverage and day-to-day operations and to the highest standards

2)     Ensure excellent levels of internal and external guest service

3)     Leading F&B team by attracting, recruiting and training 

4)     Menu engineering

5)     Identify guest needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns

6)    Comply with all health and safety regulations

7)     Report to management on  sales results and productivity

8)     Analyze all guest requirements and prepare plans resolve customer related issues and satisfy guests.

9)     Monitor and ensure optimal cleanliness, sanitation of the restaurant and kitchen

10)  Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, acknowledge all guests and resolve complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.

11)  Ensure constant and effective communication with managers and supervisors regarding any guest or staff issue

12)  Operate POS (point of sale).

13)  Manage staff by ensuring the smooth running of the floor and  duties

14)  Maintain excellent product knowledge

15)  Prepare weekly staff rosters

16)  Conduct service briefings

17)  Ensure all staff adhere to the ‘company code of conduct’ and ‘standard operating procedures

18)  Monitor staff closely to identify any transgressions throughout service so that these can be addressed immediately

19)  Monitor staff service levels to establish any areas that require attention or further training and provide training where required

20)  Ensure the correct set up for functions and bookings for the day

21)  Ongoing menu and beverage training as well as developing regular tests

22)  Monitor staff breaks and general time keeping

23)  Ability to work long hours, day and night, including weekends and holidays when required

24)  Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

 

Requirements

  • Must have experience of menu engineering
  • Bachelors in hospitality management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with Micros and Materials Control
  • Must be good at handling guest complaint's
  •  Excellent customer service skills
