(JSI), is an independent, supply chain advisory firm based in East Africa that provides our clients with customized guidance on supply chain management and design. inSupply Health has an established track record of collaborating with partners in government, public health, and the private sector and excel at designing resilient supply chain solutions for essential health products and using information technology and innovation to drive health system performance. After three years as a donor-funded project, with a strong track record collaborating with stakeholders in East Africa to improve the performance and efficiency of supply chains, inSupply has transitioned to inSupply Health. Based in East Africa, with headquarters in Nairobi and a branch office in Dar es Salaam, inSupply Health is able to better meet the needs and budgets of regional and local partners, while drawing on its affiliation with JSI. Overview:The consultant will support the development and documentation of the system requirements specifications and will supervise the implementation and customization of dynamics business centralResponsibilities:In Liaison and approval of the Regional Finance and Operations Manager the functional consultant will perform the following responsibilities; Lead the process of requirements gathering by undertaking an in-depth business process analysis, definition and documentation of the business requirements.In conjunction with the procurement analyst, lead the process of recruitment andrecommend for approval a firm to undertake the customization and implementation ofDynamics Business Central.Prepare the project plan and statement of work for the implementing vendor.Undertake an assessment of hardware and software requirements and makerecommendations for implementationSupervise the vendor implementing the ERP and ensure that the implementation isconsistent with the system requirements specification.Verify and document deliverables as per the implementation milestones that will beagreed upon with the selected vendor.Coordinate user training and documentation for all users and lead further businessprocess modeling that may be required.Develop Test scripts to be used to undertake the User acceptance tests.Carry out integration designs for non-standard customizations with core functionalitiesIn liaison with the vendors review the data migration templates and support the usersin completing the required data.Carry out independent system quality testsEstablish the data migration design and lead the data migration for inSupply ensuringdata is accurately filled and verified by the various data owners.Overall project management such as development of the project deliverables, changemanagement reports, meetings coordination, vendor invoicing, and project closureCoordinate the resolution of pending issues and finalization of user manuals Qualifications: A minimum of an undergraduate with a business degree or ITAccounting Certification (CPA) will be a plusMinimum of 5 years implementing and customizing Dynamics Business central for nonprofit organizations and experience integrating a regional/subsidiary dimension a plusExperience in Microsoft Power BI and integration with core ERP
