GED TECHNICIAN – ELECTRICAL

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensure equipment is reliable and always ready through effective maintenance and timely repairs.
• Identify and recommend critical spare parts for seamless operations.
• Partner with service supervisors to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges.
• Execute projects with precision, providing regular updates on progress.
• Promote and enforce safety practices across the workshop.
• Plan and schedule preventative and total productive maintenance (PM & TPM).
• Train workshop staff on the proper use of tools and equipment.
• Generate accurate maintenance reports to guide decision-making.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

• A Diploma in Mechatronics engineering/Electrical and electronics engineering.
• Good knowledge of generators/compressors.
• Good knowledge of hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
• Computer literate and good understanding of MS word and Excel.
• A driving license is a definite advantage.
• Experience with operations and maintenance of garage equipment is a plus.
• Basic AUTOCAD Knowledge.
