Job Title: Group Marketing Executive
Department: Marketing
Duty Station: Nairobi
Direct Responsible to: Managing Director
Work in line with, Managing Director, Group HR, Group Operations Manager, Group Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities
Job Purpose: The main function is to drive existing and future Al-Yusra business by building strong working relationships with key stakeholders to market out our fresh and quality products. The mission is simply to grow our customer base, execute the business channel objectives and grow the profit.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for the achievement of marketing missions, goals KPI’s, budget and financial objectives
• Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer trends and needs, defining marketing conditions, competitor’s market share, competitor’s strength and weakness and projecting the business
• Improve product marketability and profitability by researching and capitalizing on market opportunities, improving product packaging and coordinating new product development
• Work with the management team to design and built-out marketing promotional and advertisement activities.
• Direct and communicate all marketing efforts across the company
• Responsible for all written, verbal and visual communication, branding and marketing campaigns
• Develop key relationships with outside companies
• Constantly demonstrate a personal passion for ensuring the highest level of marketing and customer service are achieved.
• Develop and manage powerful social media campaigns e.g. blogs, websites, database and other marketing tools that enhances marketing and improve sales
• Develop the marketing budget, provide guidance and share information regarding to product research and trends. Recommend retail ideas and pricing models, monitor completion, supply and product demand trends and advise.
• Organization of industry events, functions, tours and shows
• Lead the management in innovations and development of new food product concept, including packaging, content, look, feel, advertising, retail demos and other components to increase our product line offering and business growth.
• Develop Digital campaign to increase web traffic by way of setting up digital marketing strategies using all necessary tools.
• Oversee all the company’s social media account
• Use customer feedback to ensure customers are satisfied
