Job Summary

We are looking for a positive minded, innovative, creative and resourceful individual to head the kitchen at a new restaurant in Nairobi.

  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 5 years

Job Description/Requirements

Below are some of the main duties;

- Design a full menu with a wide range of offerings

- Preparation of meals in conjunction with kitchen staff

- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate all activities in the kitchen

- Organize and manage supplies and determine supply needs

- Report to the manager on any matters pertaining to the kitchen and staff

- Maintain kitchen and food hygiene to the highest standards

- Food costing

- Assist in business development

- Any other duties assigned


Below are the requirements for this position;

- At least 5 years of experience

- Diploma in related course

- Proven track record

- Sales and marketing experience will be an added advantage
