Key Responsibilities
- Set learning goals for students and teachers based on national curricula
- Monitor and report on teachers' performance through comprehensive staff appraisals
- Present school performance data to management
- Research and implement new resources and techniques to improve teaching and learning outcomes
- Conduct regular in-service training for teachers
- Interview and recommend teaching personnel for hiring
- Review and implement school policies
- Ensure the school vision is clearly articulated and effectively acted upon
- Handle emergencies and school crises as needed
- Organize school events and assemblies
- Maintain student discipline in accordance with school policies
- Liaise with educational stakeholders to stay current on educational trends
