Job Summary

Reporting to the Managing Director, the HR Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources and coming up with ideas to drive the group to its potential.

Job Description/Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities
•    Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.
•    Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
•    Oversee staff attendance and absence monitoring.
•    Nurture a positive and decent working environment by supervising the work of employees
•    Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
•    Ensure legal and regulatory compliance throughout human resource management.
•    Ensure the maintenance of documentation of file and proper record keeping in the department.
•    Facilitate the administration of employee – related paper work, such as employee contracts or formal notices of termination.
•    Administering financial elements such as payroll, compensation and benefits and pension schemes.
•    Perform other duties as may be required.
•    Lead the recruitment process, including selection and interviewing of candidates.
•    Answering phones in a professional manner, screening and routing calls as necessary.
•    Responding to all client’s inquiries in a polite and timely manner.
•    Recruitment – Advising and leading the management team in talent acquisition and management including managing the recruitment process in a manner that ensures the right calibre of employees is hired and retained. Leading in Manpower planning, to ensure appropriate match between employees and jobs to be done.
•    Record Keeping - Organizing and maintaining personnel records, updating internal HR databases and preparing of all HR related documents.
•    Reporting - Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics

Requirements, Experience and skills
•    A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or any relevant field of study in a recognized Educational institution.
•    Proven working experience as HR Manager.
•    Demonstrable experience with Human Resource metrics.
•    Knowledge of HR systems and database.
•    Ability to combine strategy with leadership skills.
•    Demonstrable experience with Human Resource metrics.
•    Knowledge of HR systems and database.
•    Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationship at all levels of the company.
•    Well versed in MS Computer packages i.e. Word/Outlook/ Excel/ PowerPoint.
•    High Degree of Integrity and Confidentiality
•    Hardworking, resilient and pro-active
•    Good multitasking skills
•    Excellent communication skills – both written and spoken
•    Excellent interpersonal skills
•    Mature – able to engage Senior Management and VIP guests
•    Good organizational skills
