Job Description (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Tavevo Water and Sewerage Company Ltd, was incorporated on April 7, as a private company limited by shares to give it autonomy and enable it operate commercially. The major shareholders of the company were Municipal Council of Voi, County Council of Taita Taveta and Town Council of Taveta which now are the County of Taita Taveva. The company is one of the WSPs in the CWSB jurisdiction and has been contracted to provide water and sewerage services in Taita Taveta County under a Service Provision Agreement. Ref: TVO/04//GENERAL PURPOSEAssist in planning and coordinating recruitment, training and performance management of staff members in the companyDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES In Liaison with your supervisor implement HR policies related to recruitment, promotions, and performance management.Ensure to participate in the development and preparation of work plan and budget.Ensure to recruit and select staff of the right calibre including preparation of job adverts, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checking and making offers to candidates.Ensure to develop an orientation programme and oversee staff induction for new hires.Promptly conduct training needs assessment and coordinate organization training needs assessment in liaison with Heads of Departments and organize staff training sessions, workshops and activities Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor from time to time.Personal Specifications Hold a Diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution.A Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Business Management or Business Administration- Human Resource Management Option from a recognized institution will be an added advantageHave at least Three years of experience in human resource managementValid membership to IHRMHave sound knowledge of Kenyan Labor LawsExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenHigh level of integrity and ethicsStrong computer skills in basic software (MS- Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
