The role serves as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues, acts as an employee champion and change agent, seeks to develop integrated solutions for the overall business and manages the full employee life cycle. The position is based in Nairobi, Kenya reporting to the Country Manager and a dotted line to the East Africa Regional People Partner. Recruitment: Manage the recruitment process from planning, sourcing to onboarding.Total Reward Management: Responsible for the overall rewards management at Yara KenyaEmployee Relations: Leads the development and communication of policies and practices that cover the full employee relationship and strategy (i.e. collective and individual dispute resolution, conflict management, tribunals, grievance and disciplinary, employment law, contracts of employment and terms and conditions)Performance & Talent Management: Coach and support line managers to ensure performance and talent management to drive the achievement of business goals through objective and development plan setting, performance calibration and talent development.Learning and Development: Understand learning requirements, define and implement priorities in short/long term by working with the relevant teams Profile University Degree with bias in Human ResourceProfessional HR Qualification (CIPD, IHRM)10 years progressive HR Generalist experience in a multinational company5 years’ progressive experience in a senior HR roleWorking Knowledge of HR information systems such as SAP, Payroll SystemsComputer literacy (advanced Microsoft office applications)Fluent in English language Additional Information Interpersonal Competencies—Relationship Management, CommunicationBusiness Acumen, Critical Evaluation and ConsultationConflict ManagementExcellent Communication skills
