Overall Objective of the Job
To ensure an uphold Harmonious Employee Relations at the workplace and offer requisite support to the Department for effective human resource management.

ROLE DESCRIPTION   
1.        Assist to plan, conduct and coordinate recruitment and selection activities to ensure that a recruitment and selection procedure is followed and staff recruited fit into the needs of the organization

Hiring Process Satisfaction Rate

2.        Implement Human Resources policies, procedures, processes and systems to ensure they are correctly and consistently applied within the factory as per company expectations.   

DELIVERABLES
Consistent application, compliance to company requirements

3.        Recommend and implement sound employee relations programs to ensure the highest level of mutual understanding between employees and management and avoid industrial conflicts at the factory.   

DELIVERABLES
Higher employee engagement and motivation levels.

4.        Provide support to supervisors and staff to develop the skills and capabilities  to ensure skills gaps and performance related obstacles are addressed.    Improved staff skills, knowledge and competencies.

DELIVERABLES
Enhanced staff performance.

5.        Provide counselling, information and assistance to staff , supervisors, managers to ensure that all human resources and work related issues are communicated effectively to all stakeholders.   

DELIVERABLES
Timely communication to staff on work/employment related issues and information.

6.        Coordinate the process of staff appointments, which includes issuance, renewal and termination of contracts in liaison with the HR & Admin Manager and HODs.   

DELIVERABLES
Timely renewal and issuance of contracts to staff with 100% compliance.

7.        Administration of the reward management function such as updating payroll details and any applicable staff benefits.   

DELIVERABLES
Timely staff salary disbursement with zero errors.

8.        Supporting the HR & Admin Manager in the performance management function by ensuring performance planning and review has been done and that effective performance improvement programs have been initiated and closely followed to completion where needed.   

DELIVERABLES
Timely performance contracting and documentation of the same.
Proper documentation of all PIPs and follow up on action plans.

9.        To take a proactive approach to HR compliance, legislation and risk management, ensuring risks and issues are identified, addressed and reported and, where appropriate, escalated.   

DELIVERABLES
Updated HR risk audit report with timely completion of identified action plans.

10    Ensure data on Company HRMIS system (Sage 300 People) is accurate and updated at all times. Train and educate employees to hence competence and adoption of the system.    Updated & Accurate HRMIS data

DELIVERABLES
100% staff competence & adoption of Sage 300 People.

ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
●    Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, Social Sciences or other relevant degree
●    A higher diploma in HR or CHRP
●    Must be a registered member with IHRM

RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
●    Exposure in handling performance management and employee relations issues
●    At least two years of relevant experience in a busy manufacturing company
●    Sound understanding of labour laws and other national legislations related to labour
●    Knowledge and experience in working with labour unions
●    Good understanding of the various HRM functions with the ability to coordinate them.
●    Working knowledge of working with HR systems/ Sage 300 People
●    Experience working in a faced paced, multicultural environment
