Job Summary

The ICT Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality ICT education to students, fostering digital literacy, and inspiring a love of technology. The successful candidate will be skilled in integrating technology into the curriculum, promoting critical thinking, and preparing students for the digital age.

Job Description/Requirements

1.Curriculum Development:

  • Develop and implement engaging and relevant ICT curriculum aligned with IGCSE Pearson standards and the school's educational philosophy.
  • Create innovative lesson plans that incorporate a variety of teaching methodologies, including project-based learning, inquiry-based learning, and problem-solving.


2.Classroom Instruction:

  • Deliver inspiring and effective ICT lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Utilize a range of teaching strategies, including technology tools and resources, to enhance student engagement and understanding.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.


3.Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Develop and administer fair and reliable assessments to evaluate student progress and achievement.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and growth.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.


4.Technology Integration:

  • Integrate technology into the curriculum to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest educational technology trends and best practices.
  • Provide technical support to staff and students as needed.


5.Professional Development:

  • Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share expertise and best practices.
  • Contribute to the school's overall mission and vision.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Proven experience teaching ICT in an international school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of educational technology tools and applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • TSC Number is required 
  • 2-5 Years experience in British national curriculum (BNC, IGCSE) is an added advantage
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Resilience and a positive attitude
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Superb interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
