• The candidate should have a proven Enterprise Software Sales background and a track record of success in East Africa Region
• He/She is expected to be enterprising, excited about building business & smart enough to identify opportunities
• The candidate should be confident enough to deal with CXOs, be able to properly articulate the value proposition & not just survive but lead the negotiation cycles
• In addition to managing the sales team, the candidate will be working closely with Engineering & Product development teams, besides partners wherever required
Roles & Responsibilities
• Establish strong relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and executive sponsors in the targeted accounts of East Africa
• Develop and execute the business strategy for growth, focusing on opening doors, building relationships, establishing new revenue streams
• Generate revenue by identification of new pipeline opportunities, and sales of incremental value added services including cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
• Ability to converse in a knowledgeable manner on various industry topics and internet technologies in order to sell location based/supply chain analytics opportunities to prospective customers
• Ability to close deals with an optimised sales process
• Smart personality with excellent communication skills
• Must have the skills to develop relationships quickly, with prospects/customers at all levels
