Job Summary

About the Role

We are looking for a professional with 2+ years of work experience in HR generalist roles. The specific purpose of this role is to provide HR support to meet the evolving people management needs of the business. The candidate will report to the Employee Relations Coordinator.


  • Support the organization in implementing value-adding HR functional plans that deliver business results.
  • Talent management routines include planning and talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, HR compliance, and operations.
  • Provide professional employee relations guidance to colleagues and managers.
  • Follow up on feedback from partners on the effectiveness of the team using appropriate channels including project evaluations, satisfaction surveys among others...

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Registered and certified member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
  • At least two years of work experience within the Human Resource function.
  • Excellent skills in using MS Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and HRIS.
  • Knowledge of Kenyan Employment and Labor laws.
  • Collaborator with people management attributes

Preferred Start Date

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, start dates can vary significantly by role. We are adapting rapidly to Covid-19 and most of our team is now working remotely. Given the changing environment, we will appreciate your flexibility in confirming a start date.
