Job Description Beacon Of Hope- is a registered Faith based and community non-governmental Organisation RESPONSIBILITIESThe teacher will be responsible for the following: Preparing lessons and maintaining academic standards in the schoolEvaluating and preparing learners for assessmentsTeach according to individual students’ and groups’ educational needs, abilities, and achievementsEnsure high standards of professional practice and quality of teachingEnsure consistency and improvement in curriculum delivery through teamwork and collaborative planningServe as a role model and maintain learner discipline to create a conducive environment for learningEngage learners in curricular and co-curricular activities so as to identify, nurture and develop talentOrganize and coordinate psychosocial and spiritual nurture activities for the class and give timely reports QUALIFICATIONS Diploma in Early Childhood Education – a degree would be an added advantageFive years teaching experienceRegistered with the Teachers Service CommissionMature Christian who is supportive of the beliefs, calling and vision of Beacon of HopeCertificate/Diploma in Leadership, Guidance and Counseling or any other relevant course is an added advantageStrong communication skillsLeader in co-curricular activitiesMastery of office software (MS Word, Excel, and Power Point)An effective team player that works collaboratively and effectively with others and passionate about learning and teaching.
