Job Description/Requirements
Location: Uplands, Lari Constituency – Kiambu County, Kenya
Gross Salary: KSh 40,000 – 45,000 per month
Experience: 3 - 4 years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
● Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in line with professional standards.
● Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately and safely.
● Monitor, assess, and document patients’ progress and responses to treatment.
● Offer patient and family education on health promotion and disease prevention.
● Maintain high standards of hygiene, infection prevention, and patient safety.
● Support clinical officers and doctors during patient management and procedures.
● Participate in emergency response and critical care as needed.
● Assist in maternity services including antenatal, delivery, and postnatal care.
● Support surgical procedures and patient care in the theatre department.
Requirements
● Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) from a recognized institution.
● Must be registered and licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
● 3–4 years of nursing experience, with proven experience in maternity and theatre departments.
● Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
