Job Summary

The Lease Sales & Marketing Officer will be responsible for identifying new clients, managing leads, closing EV lease agreements, and supporting post-sale engagement to ensure client satisfaction and retention. This role combines business development, marketing outreach, and operational coordination to grow Utu Cars’ footprint in Rwanda.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients for EV leasing—both individual and institutional
  • Present lease packages, financing options, and product benefits to clients
  • Follow up on leads and manage the full sales pipeline to closure
  • Develop and execute local marketing strategies to boost visibility and client acquisition
  • Represent Utu Cars at activations, roadshows, and industry events 



Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • 2+ years in sales or marketing, preferably in automotive, leasing, or finance
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of EVs or interest in sustainable transport is a plus
  • Self-driven, accountable, and able to manage a dynamic pipeline
  • Proficiency in English and Kinyarwanda; French is an added advantage
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery and onboarding
  • Gather and report client feedback to inform service improvements
  • Track lease performance and flag contract or payment issues proactively
