Job Description (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The Commission on Administrative Justice (CAJ) also known as the Office of the Ombudsman is a Constitutional Commission established under Article 59 and Chapter Fifteen of the Constitution, and the Commission on Administrative Justice Act, . The Commission has a mandate, inter-alia, to investigate any conduct in state affairs or any act or omission in public administration in any sphere of Government and complaints of abuse of power, unfair treatment, manifest injustice or unlawful, oppressive, unfair or unresponsive official conduct.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDuties and responsibilities for this position will entail: Screening of complainantsAssisting in handling public complaints and provision of legal advice;Assisting in conducting legal research on matters relating to administrative justice and other legal matters; Compiling reports and collating data for preparation of briefsAny other duty assigned by the Commission from time to time JOB SPECIFICATIONFor appointment to this position, a candidate must have; A Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized institution;Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institutionOne year on job training is preferable
