INSURANCE SALES JOB OPPORTUNITY - THIKA TOWN – SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER 2023

We currently have exciting Career Sales Opportunities for Life Insurance Sales Agents/ Financial Advisors who will report directly to our Unit Sales Managers at our Branch office in Thika Town. This is a unique opportunity to work with the most trusted insurance brand in East Africa offering all insurance solutions i.e. a One Stop Shop for all your clients’ insurance needs. 


Ideal Coursework

1. Executive Certificate of Proficiency (ECOP) in insurance; 2. Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (COP); 3. Diploma in Risk Management & insurance; 4. Bachelor of Commerce in Insurance; 5. BSc. Actuarial Science 6. Craft Course in Insurance (CCI)


Added Advantage

Has over 6 months’ experience in Door to Door Sales, Merchandizing, selling of Financial Services etc. actively looking for prospective clients, scheduling appointments, doing presentations and onboarding them. 


Work Area & Office Location

Should be located around and able to work from our branch office in Thika.


Monthly Income/Remuneration

The Monthly income is on Commission Basis at a High and Attractive Rate, as per the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) of Kenya guidelines, i.e. a percentage of all the Sales you submit within the month, plus the Monthly commission income from the Life Insurance Sales done in previous Months.

Key Responsibilities

 Prospecting: Search for potential Life Insurance Clients, and Submit Activity & Progress Reports (Door to door Prospecting, Referrals, Phone & Video Calling, Email etc.)

 Approach Prospective Clients and Schedule Appointments with them

 Conduct Fact-finding interviews to establish potential client Needs & develop solutions in line with the uncovered needs during the investigation stage of the sale

 Conduct Value Presentations & demonstrate ability to meet client Goals & needs

 Follow up and obtain commitment by assist clients in the Buying Process

 After Sales Service, getting referrals & Other roles as assigned by the Team Leader



Start Date

Should be able to start immediately if successful after the interview.
