Machine Operator

Job description

Ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operation of machines, contributing to the overall productivity and quality of the manufacturing process. Meet production targets, minimize downtime, and support the company's overall success by diligently following standard procedures, maintaining machines, and adhering to safety and quality guidelines . Play a vital role in identifying opportunities for process improvement, contributing to the continuous enhancement of the production workflow.Responsibilitiesï§ Ensure kaizen 5S shop floor arrangements, equipment cleanliness and housing keeping standards are well kept.
ï§ Load raw materials into the machines, offload and package finished products.
ï§ Carry out production as communicated by the Production supervisor/ Manager through the weekly and daily production plan whilst upholding safety.
ï§ Report any product non-conformities as a result of machine failure to the Production Manager and isolate any affected product to prevent unintended use.
ï§ Ensuring production is executed as per the production plan and immediately report any issue that might affect the plan.
ï§ To operate plant/machinery in an efficient manner following all the SSOPs to maximise process output.
ï§ Update machine autonomous maintenance checklist daily.
ï§ Ensure production KPIs for the allocated cell are attained and sustained.
ï§ Assist in FLT operations on the shop floor.
ï§ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machine performance.
ï§ Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
ï§ Adjust machine settings and controls to achieve the desired product specifications.
ï§ Promptly notify maintenance teams for any machine malfunctions to minimize down times.
ï§ Performing any other duties as assigned by the Manager.Skills requiredï§ Experience in a manufacturing setup
