Job Summary

Your mission will be to promote MSK and its various activities through the development, implementation, tracking and optimisation of a marketing and communications plan across multiple channels (including website and social media platforms).

Reporting to the CEO 

Roles and Responsibilities 
  • Develop and deliver creative marketing and communication strategies, plans and approaches to help market and position MSK to attract membership.
  • Plan the marketing and communications strategies for specific areas of MSK’s services and for different audiences.
  • Organize and plan online and in-person events which will encourage and bring together global participation and increase MSK’s visibility.
  • Deliver internal communications and messages through different communication channels and modalities such as but not limited to the company’s website, social media, newsletters, press releases, publications, online events, etc.
  • Develop and implement marketing and communications campaigns and strategies and monitor their success.
  • Determine strategic communications campaigns that will help further organizational goals.
  • Manage the Marketing & Communications budget and ensure programme milestones related to marketing & communications are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Responsible for Events planning, coordination and management
  • Track ROI for marketing campaigns
  • Social Media Management
  • Placing Society press releases in local media and making use of other available communication channels.
  • Sell Society products and services to members.

Skills and Qualifications 
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, digital communications, media, public relations, 
  • At least 5 years of related marketing experience, ideally in Event marketing and partnerships 
  • Proven experience of delivering successful integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution
  • Experience planning and implementing events.
  • Copywriting and editing skills Some knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics etc) Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking 
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, juggling multiple projects
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with experience in fast-paced environments & collaboratively as part of a team
