Job Description/Requirements

Communications

· Develop andimplement Regional PR, digital communication and social media plan to promote Radisson Blu Hotel Nairobi within the market, in cooperation with the Regional office.

· Promote Radisson Blu Hotel Nairobi and its executives through social media network, trade shows, interviews,press conferences, media dinners, photo calls and events.

· Researchand seek innovative PR (online and offline) opportunities, includingidentifying opportunities for the placement of stories and the promotion ofspokespeople

· Direct any localPR agencies in terms of managing the brief, the pitch and appointment processand working closely with the agency to promote the hotel.

· Develop andmaintain media and online journalists/bloggers lists for use on regional basisin liaison with the corporate PR agency.

· Write, editand submit news releases to the media locally and regionally.

Marketing

· Design the annual marketing plan for Radisson Blu Hotel Nairobi that willact a guide for marketing operations throughout the year

· Ensure a coherent brand message and tone of voice

· Deliver creative, innovative and effectiveadvertising, collateral, sales tools

· Develop online content for B2C activities

· Ensure effective database management in hotels

· Adaptation of corporate campaigns as directed bythe regional office

· Development of district tactical marketing activitiesand campaigns

· Manage and develop strategic B2C partnership andsponsorship

· Monitor consumer data, ROI leisure campaigns,market research,

· Support the implementation of the Brand MICE offers(Experience and Smart) 

· Manage and develop strategic B2B partnership andsponsorship

Social Media

· Manage the execution of the company’ssocial media strategy

· Onlinereputation management for the Radisson Blu Hotel Nairobi based on social media and review sites monitoring

· Create and execute frequent promotions on multiplesocial media channels

· Monitor and manage the use of Revinate

· Manage the hotel’s social media channels composing engagingand informative content using appropriate brand voice and best practices onsocial channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+.
