4. Mechanics/Instructors JOB GROUP CPSB 11 (2 POSTS)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Offer technical training to Trainees.
ii. Provide production services in the MVTC/County.
iii. Prepare lesson plan, schemes of work for the Department.
iv. Prepare work plan annually for the Department.
v. Implement new training program.
vi. Provide quality training and timely coverage of designated syllabus.
vii. Advice the Technical Director on issues regarding Training.
viii. Act as a link between Students, Parents and Administration (Management)
ix. Ensure proper maintenance of assets/properties.
x. Any other duties that may be assigned by the Director Technical Training /Principal.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
i. Be a Kenyan Citizen.
ii. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (plus) or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
iii. Motor Vehicle Mechanic National Trade Test Certificate II and above, apprentice Certificate awarded by the directorate of Industrial Training or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized Institution.
iv. Knowledge and experience in the area of specialization.
v. Good Communication Skills.
vi. Good interpersonal relations.
vii. Able to work beyond normal working hours and with strict time lines.
v. Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and Integrity.
a) Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation
b) Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
c) Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
d) Clearance from the Ethics &Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
e) Clearance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
