The major shareholders of the company were Municipal Council of Voi, County Council of Taita Taveta and Town Council of Taveta which now are the County of Taita Taveva. The company is one of the WSPs in the CWSB jurisdiction and has been contracted to provide water and sewerage services in Taita Taveta County under a Service Provision Agreement.Ref: TVO/04//0 05GENERAL PURPOSETo ensure prompt reading and reporting of meters in the approved meter cycleDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the Mobile Meter reading Assistant is stored safely, diligently used and maintained and in good working condition at all times.Promptly record and report in a prescribed format observed anomalies on the Mobile Meter reading Assistant as shall be directed by your supervisor.Promptly inform your supervisor in the event you have not received the meter reading data by the due date.Undertake meter reading according to the approved meter reading cycleUndertake meter reading according to the approved format. For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: – A minimum of a KCSE or at least three years of experience as a meter readerA Meter Installation Certificate from a recognized institution will be an added advantageGood communication, interpersonal and time management skills
