Mixologist - Siaya

Position Available:   Mixologist. (1. Position)

STATUS:

Maintain the inventory of the bar drinks and equipment.

Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.

Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks.

Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.

Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.

Plan and present bar men

Verify identification and age requirements of customers

Mix traditional and creative cocktails

Process payment from customers

Clean glasses and bar utensils

Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences

Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits

Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift

Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere

Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations

Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails

Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairiImpeccable customer service and social perceptiveness

Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness

Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol

Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments

Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Work hand in hand with your colleagues and other departmental staff so as to ensure the Hotel achieves the optimum.

Devote your whole time and attention to the business of the Hotel and not to engage directly or indirectly in any other business of any kind that conflicts with your duties as an employee of the Hotel.

Act in accordance with the instructions of, and comply with all lawful commands and directions of the Hotel.

Promote and safeguard at all times the interests of the hotel and its business and not do anything which is or may be detrimental to those interests.
