AFIDEP is a regional non-profit research and policy Institute whose mission is to institutionalize a culture of consistent use of evidence in public policy formulation and implementation to address various development challenges in Africa. 7. Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Expert (Master's Degree in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning or related social science with advanced MEL Training)
The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) specialist will develop and oversee operationalization of the institutional MEL framework and systems to ensure that they effectively support achievement of the Institute's strategic plan.
The job holder should have a Masters' degree in either Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) or in a related discipline such as Demography, Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, but with formal training in MEL.
The job holder should also have at least five years' experience at a senior level on M&E, including institutional M&E development and oversight.
