Operation Specialist

Key Responsibilities
1.  Fleet Management & Technical Support
- Oversee the operational readiness of electric motorcycles, ensuring vehicles are well-maintained and roadworthy
- Understand EV mechanisms and perform basic troubleshooting or minor repairs when needed
- Coordinate with technical teams for preventive maintenance and servicing schedules

2. Battery-Swapping Operations
- Supervise battery-swapping points and ensure smooth execution of the swapping process
- Train riders on battery usage, safety protocols, and swapping procedures
- Monitor battery inventory and report anomalies or shortages

3. Rider Onboarding & Compliance
- Recruit and onboard Boda-boda and food delivery riders in alignment with company standards
- Conduct orientation sessions and ensure riders understand operational policies and safety guidelines
- Monitor daily rider activity and enforce compliance with company regulations

4. Immediate Rescue & Field Support
- Provide rapid-response solutions in case of vehicle breakdowns or delivery disruptions
- Coordinate alternative transport or vehicle replacement to minimise service downtime
- Maintain active communication with riders during emergencies and escalate as needed

5. Performance Monitoring & Motivation
- Track rider performance metrics, including food delivery / ride-hailing volume, punctuality, daily working hours and customer feedback
- Motivate riders to meet daily targets through incentives, coaching, and regular check-ins
- Identify underperforming riders and implement corrective action plans

Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in fleet operations, preferably with electric motorcycles or delivery logistics
- Technical understanding of EV motorcycle mechanisms and basic mechanical skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to manage and motivate rider teams
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to operational challenges
- Familiarity with dispatch platforms, rider tracking tools, and performance dashboards
