Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support daily operations in our apparel branding company. The ideal candidate will assist in the overall running of the business. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
● Monitor production processes to ensure apparel meets the company’s quality standards.
● Conduct inspections of finished products to verify they align with branding specifications.
● Identify and report any defects or discrepancies in products.
● Help coordinate daily staff activities to ensure efficient workflow.
● Assist in staff scheduling and attendance management.
● Support in addressing employee concerns and promoting a productive working environment.
● Help follow up on clients’ orders.
● Manage walk-in customers.
● Arrange finished goods in an orderly manner on the shelves.
● Help manage stocks and refilling shelves.
● Help liaising with landlord when necessary.
● Arrange and coordinate with rider and customer for deliveries.
● Manage goods in the store in an orderly manner.
● Prepare goods for dispatch from store when required.
● Stock taking on regular basis.
● Coordinating with technician when required.
● Coordinating with suppliers, receiving goods and arranging in an orderly manner.
● Assist in finishing of products when required.
● Assist in pressing prints when required.
● Should be highly talented in organising the production to meet deadlines even if it means working longer hours.
● Should have the ability the understand customers requirements when we receive bespoke orders.
● Should be able to problem solve minor issues by themselves.
Qualifications and Skills:
● Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
● 1-2 years of experience in operations or administrative roles, preferably in the apparel or branding industry.
● Strong organisational and time-management skills.
● Keen attention to detail, especially in quality control.
● Good communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
● Fluent English.
● Managerial skills required.
Salary; Ksh. 30,000 - 40,000
