REGISTRATION OF PROSPECTIVE PART-TIME LECTURERS
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 35 (1) (a) (i) and Section 24 (4) of the Universities Act, 2012 (Revised 2020), the National Defence University-Kenya (NDU-K) invites applications from suitably qualified persons to be considered for registration as prospective Part-time lecturers.
NDU- K intends to establish a database for qualified part time lecturers from which lecturers would be drawn as and when required.
JOB DESCRIPTION — PART-TIME LECTURERS
Renumeration:Competitive package as per NDU-K rates
Terms of Service:Part time teaching
Reports to; Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic Affairs and Research)
Area of specialization
The prospective part time lecturers should have specialization in any the following disciplines;
a. National Security and Strategy; d. Peace and Conflict Studies;
b. Defence and Strategic Studies; e. Disaster Management and Crisis Response;
c. International Relations; f. Critical Care Nursing.
Qualifications
For consideration for registration as a prospective Part-time lecturer, one must have.:
i. An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited and recognized university;
ii At least three (3) years of teaching experience at university level
